Ceratostigma griffithiiThe hardy plumbago is an open branched, spreading, deciduous shrub with slender, bristly mid-green stems. The leaves have purple margins, turing a bright red in autumn. From late summer to autumn, this plant bears very striking blue flowers. It can be grown in well-drained soil and prefers full sun. It is a rounded shrub with attractive red stems and bristly, purple-margined, green leaves turning a red in autumn. This plant is often over looked and its shame as it provides a fantasic display late inthe year when others are waining. Great low growing plant.
